Information for Cape May Cafe

Location

This New England-inspired restaurant is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, but you don’t need to be staying there to enjoy breakfast or dinner here. It’s within walking distance of EPCOT, meaning you can start your day with a character meal before heading over to hop on some of your favorite rides!

The Meal Experience

At Cape May Cafe offers two different experiences. For breakfast, it is a character buffet featuring Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald all dressed in adorable beach attire. This is the only location where you can see them dressed for a seaside vacation, making it an incredibly unique opportunity for some fun photos!

Even though this restaurant is buffet-style, you’ll still have a server to bring you drinks and the bread service. Cape May has delicious Salted Caramel Beach Buns, a delicious pull-apart bread covered in salted caramel with vanilla cream sauce for dipping. As for the buffet, you’ll find it is similar to many Disney buffet-style breakfasts. You’ll be able to help yourself to Mickey Waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit, and more. There is even an omelet station! Soft drinks, coffee, juice, and tea are all included, but there are also specialty and alcoholic drinks that you can order for an additional charge such as the salted caramel cold brew

During dinner, it is important to note that there are no characters. Instead, it is a seafood-and-more buffet with shrimp, clams, roasted chicken, clam chowder, and other savory options. For an additional fee of $29 per pound, you can also help yourself to some snow crab legs. There are also a variety of small desserts so you can help yourself to as much as you can eat.

Special Element: Characters

Donald Duck in Beach Bash Outfit

During breakfast, you’ll get the chance to interact, take photos with, or ask for autographs from Minnie and her friends! The best part about this character meal is that all of the characters are dressed as if they’re going on a vacation to the seaside. You’ll be able to get photos with the characters in outfits that can’t be seen in the parks!

If seeing the characters is one of your top priorities of your Disney World vacation, Cape May Cafe for breakfast is definitely the place for you. You’ll get plenty of personalized time with Minnie and her friends without having to wait in long lines in the parks.
